Appu Series was
founded in 1994 with the release of
their first direct to VCD animated story.
They were one of the first companies to publish content on YouTube for
children in 2010.
Their mascot Appu,
plays the titular character in their original show, Appu -- The Yogic Elephant
(link to an article on Appu -- the Yogic Elephant) which premiered first on YouTube in 2015, and
is slated for a television premiere on Pogo (hyperlink Pogo article) on
November 26, 2016.

has over 300 animated classic nursery rhymes from the Mother Goose Catalogue,
as well as the 200 original songs, 40
French and Spanish rhymes and their translations. Besides songs, the channel
also has number of educational animated videos, brain teasers, puzzles, and
DIYs.

The story revolves
around a baby elephant called Appu, with Yogic powers that enable him to defeat
evil forces. He becomes friends with a little girl named Neena and her pet dog
Tiger. Together they explore the world around. There 8 seasons slated for
release in the course of time.
